Additional Costs
Before visa issuance, students are required to pay EMGS processing fees to obtain a VAL (Visa Approval Letter) from Malaysian Immigration. Most universities request the full first-year tuition fee after visa approval and before departure.
Additional charges may include OSHC (health insurance), course material fees, medical check-ups, lab and library access fees, student visa processing charges, and airport pickup services. Living costs range from RM 1,200 to RM 2,000 per month, depending on location and lifestyle.
